Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The Pegasus collection highlights the award-winning creative writing of Bergen County high school students. The materials currently range from 1983 to 2021. The contest did not run in 2022 or 2023. The printed volumes are either soft covered or spiral bound and are in good physical condition. There are electronic and paper copies of some issues. The 2020 issue was the first digital-only production.

Abstract Pegasus is a publication which consists of “the award winning entries from the annual Bergen County Writing Contest.” This competition is sponsored by the Bergen Community College English Department, and for many years was coordinated by faculty member Geoffrey Sadock.
