Pegasus is a publication which consists of “the award winning entries from the annual Bergen County Writing Contest.” This competition is sponsored by the Bergen Community College English Department, and for many years was coordinated by faculty member Geoffrey Sadock. Pegasus showcases the literary work of Bergen County high school students. It features poetry, scholarly essays, short stories, personal essays, drama, and “recent American” essays.
The volumes are arranged in chronological order. The date ranges are indicated on each box. Dividers have been placed between volumes to indicate any issues that are currently not included in the collection. For example, a divider has been placed to show that there are no issues for 2022 or 2023.
